Sunday at 3 pm, First Congregational will meet at St. Michael’s Episcopal, 1601 W. Imhoff Road. Rev. Robin Meyers’ sermon will be “What I Stand For I Stand On: The Life of Wendell Berry.” Text is from “Manifesto: The Mad Farmer Liberation Front” — What we owe to the gentle but powerful witness of the poet farmer from Kentucky, Wendell Berry.
Music will be provided by Mary Sallee, pianist, and Kiegan Ryan, cellist. Communion will be served.
At 2 p.m., prior to worship, Drs. Barbara Boyd and Chris Carter will lead the new book study, “I Am a Part of Infinity” by Kieran Fox.
