Good minister wouldn't support man who abuses parish, right? - From The Oklahoman
What type of pastor has so little regard for his parishioners/constituents that he supports a rich person that continues to abuse the parish? The rich person takes away health care, abducts neighbors and locks them up or deports them without due process. He tears down a portion of the parsonage to create an addition to entertain his rich friends. He scoffs at his criminal convictions. He ignores court orders that tell him not to do something he wants to do. He floods the church board with distinctly unqualified sycophants. He will kill people boating near his territory without confirmable evidence of wrongdoing. He will completely redecorate the church with gold idolatry. The rich person shows complete disdain in words and actions to those he considers below his status. He calls for aggression against anyone who speaks out about his actions to have his disciples attack their fellow parishioners. The rich man shows no concern for the poorer parishioners relying on support from the parish to the point of reducing the assistance provided by the parish. He takes away most of their subsistence with an offer of cash so low that it could not replace the previous assistance for more than a month. He calls for the hanging of officials that recite rules from the military code. (Sen. James) Lankford, do you believe that a good Baptist minister would continue to support such a rich man?
